VFC Order Status
Order Processing Updates
The Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program is currently not experiencing any delays in order review. Please note if you have an order in “Corrections Needed” status, review your order as soon as you have a chance and re-submit with corrections to prevent additional delays in fulfillment of your order. Providers can expect to receive their vaccines within 14 days after receiving the order processed notification. Please contact us at the VFC Customer Service Center if vaccines have not arrived within two weeks of your order processed confirmation.

Hib Vaccine
As of February 20, 2024, Hiberix (NDC 58160-0818-11) is no longer available. The new presentation of Hiberix (NDC 58160-0726-15) will be available to order starting March 1, 2024. Alternate brands of Hib are still available to order (ActHIB and PedvaxHib).
RSV
Nirsevimab/Beyfortus® : Both 50 and 100mg presentations have begun to ship for providers that submitted their pre-book requests. For providers that did not submit a pre-book request, doses will be allocated to your location based on available supply.
Clesrovimab/Enflonsia™: Shipments have started for Providers that pre-booked this product. Providers that did not pre-book this product can contact the VFC Program at MyVFCVaccines@cdph.ca.gov to request an allocation. Allocations are not guaranteed and will be approved on a case-by-case basis, as well as based on available supply.
COVID-19 Vaccine
Updated 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccines are now available for ordering through the VFC Program. Updated vaccines are licensed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and recommended for use in people 6 months and older to protect against severe COVID-19 disease.
The following COVID-19 vaccine products are available for ordering through the VFC Program for eligible patients 6 months through 18 years of age.

*mNEXSPIKE is available for VFC-eligible patients 12 through 18 years of age with at least one underlying condition that puts them at high risk for severe outcomes from COVID-19.
VFC Vaccine Order Form: VFC providers will order COVID-19 vaccine using the same order process they do for all other routine vaccines on the VFC order form of your myCAvax account. If it is not yet time for you to place your routine VFC vaccine order, you may submit a supplemental VFC vaccine order for COVID-19 and select “Seasonal Vaccines” as the reason. If you have recently submitted a VFC vaccine order without COVID-19 vaccine, and your order has not yet been approved, the VFC Program will be sending the order back to you as “Corrections Needed” to give you an opportunity to add COVID-19 doses to your request.
Return Any Remaining 2025-2026 COVID-19 Vaccines: After your 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccines have arrived, please remove any remaining doses of the 2025-2026 and previous seasons of COVID-19 vaccine products from your inventory. As you complete a return form in myCAvax, report them as spoiled and return to McKesson like you would any other unopened spoiled or expired vaccine. Please view the Recording Returns and Waste job aid (myCAvax login credentials required). The 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccine products will remain on the order form only to report doses administered since your last order prior to deauthorization. Do NOT report those or previous seasons of COVID-19 vaccine as on-hand inventory. Instead, enter zero if not applicable.
Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine
As of September 1, 2023, Prevnar 13 is no longer available. However, Prevnar 20 (NDC: 00005-2000-10) and Vaxneuvance (NDC: 00006-4329-03) are still available for ordering.
Meningococcal Vaccine
As of August 9, 2024, MenQuadfi Single Dose Vials – 5 per box (NDC 49281-0590-05) presentation has been discontinued and is no longer available. An alternate presentation of MenQuadfi Single Dose Vials – 10 per box (NDC 49281-0590-10) is available.
As of September 1, 2023, the new Menveo one-vial is available for ordering through the VFC Program. However, the existing Menveo two-vial presentation will be available in limited amounts, and it will be important to target this product for use in children aged 2 months through 2 years of age at high risk for Meningococcal disease. This product is the only meningococcal conjugate vaccine approved for use in this age group. Requests for the limited Menveo two-vial vaccine will have a minimum order size of 1 dose with a maximum request of 5 doses.
As of June 2, 2022, Menactra has been discontinued and is no longer available. However, Menveo and MenQuadfi are available to order.
Rotavirus Vaccine
As of March 6, 2023, ROTARIX (NDC 58160-0854-52, a vial and oral dosing applicator) is discontinued and no longer available. However, ROTARIX (NDC 58160-0740-21, an oral dosing applicator only presentation) is available to order.
Influenza Vaccine Supply Information
The VFC Program has concluded initial order shipments of flu doses for the 2026-2027 flu season. Please continue to draw down your allocated doses by submitting a vaccine order as needed. Doses allocated to your unique location can be viewed by logging into your myCAvax account and navigating to the “Vaccine Orders” page. From there, click the “New Orders” button and select your Program Location from the dropdown search window to access the link to view your Allocations (View Allocation Details link).

Prevent Delays:
- Login to myCAvax to verify that your clinic’s hours of operation are updated. This ensures a timely delivery of your vaccine shipments and prevents undeliverable shipment attempts which may lead to vaccine being spoiled.
